Family Tax Solutions

About

Robin Gervais first learned taxes as part of her Jr. High math class and was hooked. At the urging of her previous employer, she became an Enrolled Agent. Along with tax preparation, she represented many clients with tax issues before the IRS and Idaho State Tax Commission. Robin has taught classes in Ethics, Federal Tax Update, Federal Tax Update and many other tax topics to thousands of tax professionals. In 2015, she opened Family Tax Service now named FAMILY TAX SOLUTIONS. She wanted to start a company that treated their customers with the personal touch of family and the professionalism you should expect from a tax expert.

Just in case you aren’t familiar with the term of Enrolled Agent, let me help you out. The enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status have passed a three part test. They must adhere to ethical standards you should expect from a tax professional and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. Enrolled agents have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before. In other words, we are the cream of the crop of tax professionals!
